A Calling Born From Experience

My passion for doula work was born from my own challenging birth experiences. After enduring trauma, unnecessary interventions, and moments of fear and uncertainty during the births of my four boys, I made it my mission to ensure no mother faces the same struggles alone.

I am a highly experienced, DONA-certified, and trained birth doula based in Colorado, with a diverse background spanning over three decades in family advocacy, early childhood development, and child life.

My doula journey truly began with my own unique birth experiences. God put this career on my heart and revealed it to me at the perfect time. After learning that becoming a doula could positively affect the outcome of a mother’s experience, I knew I had found my calling. My experiences, God’s guidance, and a lifelong love for all things pregnancy and babies led me to become a doula and start Mountains of Love Doulas in 2020.

My mission is to empower my clients to completely rewrite the birth experience through informed decisions about their prenatal care and birth by providing tools and knowledge along with emotional and physical support. I encourage and support women to trust their instincts, ultimately learning to listen to their bodies and baby.

Originally from Mississippi, I now reside in Berthoud, Colorado, with my husband and four children, where we enjoy all of the amazing outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer.
